April Science Challenge
Get involved in our April Science Challenge to make giant bubbles!
It’s a good time to explore soap!
The Science: Bubbles consist of a thin film of soapy water filled with air. When you blow a bubble, the film expands outward. The forces acting between the molecules of the bubble cause it to form the shape that encloses the most volume with the least surface area — a sphere. That is why all the shapes become a sphere.
Scientists of the Month
We have two scientists for April, Alexander Fleming & Edward Jenner.
Can you write some facts about these amazing Scientists?
Why is their work so important to us right now?
