On Friday 1st December last, our year 4 football team played in the newly founded Primary Stars football tournament at the Barking Stadium.
Our young footballers impressed as a unit, displaying long periods of outstanding football. Valence overcame St Josephs, Roding and Henry Green respectively, topping their group with three successful wins. Valence reached the quarter final, beating Thames View, before narrowly losing to George Carey in a nail-biting penalty shootout after a 0-0 score line in the semi-final.
All the pupils had a wonderful time and played with great sportsmanship. Well done to all involved!
