Cross Country Team 2018

On Wednesday 3rd October last, 48 of our Year 3, 4, 5 and 6 pupils travelled to Mayesbrook park to take part in the annual Cross Country Running Championships.

Following sweaty training sessions over the past few weeks at Mayesbrook Park, all our hard work paid off with many of our runners receiving medals and topping the medals count in the Barking and Dagenham borough from more than 22 schools.

We are delighted to announce, Valence have the fastest Year 3 boy and girl in the borough, both winning gold medals in the individual 1.4km races. We also have the third fastest boy in year 4, 5 and 6, all winning bronze medals.
