The Sporting year has started in Barking and Dagenham and the first Borough-wide competition of the school year was the Cross Country.
Cross Country
30 children from Valence travelled to Eastbrook school to compete in the mile-long cross-country run. All of our competitors did an amazing job representing the school and we had some fantastic results too with a Bronze medal for the year 5 Boys Team. Teddy in year 5 Bonham came 4th in the Borough and Maria, year 5 Bonham came 3rd in the Borough.
Well done to everyone who took part. It certainly was a long distance.

Football
Pupils have gained places in both the Boys and Girls football teams. Matches will start soon.
